Money isn’t everything!

Money… Everyone on this planet is crazy about it, so crazy that no one gives a crap if you ain’t rich. Rich enough to provide all the ecstasies and pleasures of life. Every person, every single person has become so myopic about it that they don’t really comprehend beyond some fragments of paper and metal artifacts. Happiness seems to be formulated varying exponentially with money.

Why do my thoughts convulse me in my sleep?

Sacrifice

There is this folklore about a father and his son. And, it happens to be the premise of my story. There once lived a rich businessman who had a lazy and fun loving son. The businessman wanted his son to be hard-working and responsible. He wanted him to realize the value of labour. One day he summoned his son and said: “Today, I want you to go out and earn something, failing which you won’t have your meals tonight.”

Don’t just try.. Do it!

There is a popular adage in hindi, “Koshish karne walo ki kabhi haar nahi hoti (The people who try never fail)”. They also say “Try, try and keep on trying till you succeed”. Now to both these statements the thoughts that cloud my mind are very simple and easy to grasp.

Pain of Disillusionment

The problem with today’s world is that it is over-connected, more social than it should be and extremely cacophonous. In this age, we know more about bombings at the other end of the world rather than knowing what’s happening down the road. We just sit for a minute at peace and all it takes is a morsel of technology to shatter that cocoon to pieces. It could be a notification, Email, Facebook, news or even your neighbour nudging you.

Let not the purity of your heart easily swayed

Life is too short to waste on silly things. You may be nothing at the present moment for everyone but you are always His special child at this and every moment and feel proud for that. Don’t let anyone harden you heart. It should retain the same calmness and softness as it was born with. Life has its own ways of arching towards your destiny. If people judge you by your present circumstances, let them. Be grateful to them. They are not aware of the fact that every tree was once a seed. Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about.

THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS

Living in India and being happy at the same time is quite a milestone in itself. As one begins her or his day with a broadsheet, the gruesome reality starts spreading its wings. By the time the person take her or his mind off these realities, people around him seems to feel pleased to provide him some new ones, with their belligerence. As the person move on into the day he/she would have to face grid-locked roads, that good for nothing honking, the unremitting Sun, scuffles on petty issues and much more still awaits his presence. But still, the person strives for happiness. So was the case with me.

Confidence!

Confidence is inversely proportional to the number of attempts executed to achieve your aim. It is the general paradigm and we need to be pragmatic about it. Knowledge isn’t adequate to fabricate your destiny. You need to put your efforts confidently. Faith can help you move the mountains,to convulse the universe. Introspect your strengths! Beware of your weaknesses. Don’t let others scotch your path to success. None can prevent you from fulfilling your dreams but you. So don’t let yourself deceived by your future. Feel confident. If others can do it, why can’t you?
